Tandoori Chicken is one of my favorite and easiest recipes that I always make at home. Whenever guests visit, this is the one dish I always prepare because it’s so simple to make and tastes absolutely delicious!
So, I want to share this easy tandoori chicken in air fryer with you so that
you can make it too. I prepared it in an air fryer, but you can also make it in
a non-stick pan! This Tandoori Chicken
recipe was tried in an air fryer. If you don't have an air fryer, you can
easily make it in an oven too! But I would suggest you definitely try cook
tandoori chicken in air fryer. It will need less oil and will also be
healthier!
What is Tandoori Chicken in Air Fryer?
Tandoori Chicken is a Famous Indian dish made by marinating chicken in a spiced yogurt mixture and cooking it in a tandoor, Microwave or grill, giving it a smoky flavor. It’s known for its vibrant red color, tender texture, and rich, tangy taste.
Ingredients
- 500gm Chicken
- 1 Cup Yogurt
- Ginger Garlic Paste
- Spices (Red Chilli, Turmeric, Cumin Powder, Salt, Black Pepper, Garam Masala
- 1 Lemon Juice
How to Make
Step 1: Marination - 1. Mix Yogurt, All Spices, Ginger garlic Paste, lemon juice add chicken pieces 2. marinate for half an hour or 12 hours in the fridge.
Step 2: Spray a little oil or nonstick spray in your
air fryer basket. Preheat the air fryer for 2 to 3 minutes & place the chicken in
a single layer.
Set the air fryer to 300ºF (205℃) and cook
for 25 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through.
Step 3: After Cooking the Tandoori Chicken completely off the Air Fryer serve with lemon and green Chutney and Enjoy.

Serve Tandoori Chicken with Fresh Lemon Wedges, Sliced Onions and Fresh
Coriander Leaves Serve Hot with Naan or Rice.
